I currently own a '93 NA that I've had plans to swap a DETT and turbo transmission into, but after having it inspected more thoroughly, the bay may have more rust than I thought, and the true condition of the undercarriage is unknown without a wash, and the brake system and suspension would have to be replaced anyway, as well as correcting some minor body damages and replacing the front fascia. My question is, with all this in mind, should I still go forward with the idea of keeping the same chassis and swapping the drivetrain and keep improving it from here, despite its less than ideal starting condition, and the small differences between the TT and NA, such as the differential? Or for the amount invested to get it to the desired condition, with the engine and transmission, should I just cut my losses and start with a decent condition twin turbo to begin with and upgrade from there? I'm honestly not sure, and would appreciate any advice. Thank you.
